![]() ![]() ![]() If ever there is a forum page I could have missed with this issue, I would much appreciate some re-direction :). I've gone through (most) of the forums and haven't found anything really helpful and certainly not something that has worked (you know, or I wouldn't be here.). Before the clean install, is was running 1809 and macOS Mojave.I need to (A) expand macOS to the full SSD (so Windows 10 / extra partition are eliminated for now) and (B) reformat macOS. I am running NVIDIA driver version 442.19 I have Windows 10 and Bootcamp installed on my Macbook Pro 2015, and I want to do a full refresh. All peripherals work fine, same as my External HD. ![]() Device Manager shows my RTX 2070 Card perfectly fine, with no errors. The behaviours in the video which are unusual, is the weird empty Windows Vista-esque frames some applications have, the screen turning off by itself, the random intervals when screens are off and on, and the lag spikes just before a "crash" occurs. Here is a video that illustrate what I mean (yes, I filmed on a potato. The screens started going haywire, turning on and off at random intervals, until at some point, the fans just stopped and my computer had shut itself down. I logged in, opened a few app windows to install some stuff I needed, and then my screens just stuttered and went black. Download and install Windows support software on your Mac. Pretty neat and easy, and everything seemed to be working.Īfter NVIDIA drivers where installed I rebooted into Windows, and immediately realised something was off when I saw some short and thin white pixel lines scattered at random places on the screen. I basically followed the instructions at the bottom of this guide, the difference being I needed a DSDT override, which I got using this other guide. When that was done, I took some time to reinstall my Bootcamp eGPU setup. Two weeks ago, I decided that my mac needed some cleaning, and went for a full clean install of macOS Catalina on my 13" late-2016 w/TB MPB (the dual-core one). ![]()
